Website design for cultural institutions in Liège
Theatres, museums, festivals, artist networks: a website your team keeps alive itself, season after season, without going through a developer.
Let’s talk about your website ↗What your website must do
- Let the team publish. Shows, artists, dates, news: your team adds them itself, several people at once, without risk of breaking the site.
- Keep an always up-to-date calendar. The public must find within seconds what's on, where and when.
- Put the artists front and centre. Their images, their backgrounds, their projects, presented with the care they deserve.
- Speak to several audiences, sometimes in several languages. Audiences, professionals, partners, press: everyone finds their way in.
- Stay in touch. A newsletter to follow the season, and partners and supporters given visibility.
How we work
- For a team that publishes often, we choose WordPress: a familiar interface, an account for each person, publishing without a developer.
- A structure designed for your programme, which grows from one season to the next.
- Photos of artists and shows given the right setting, on desktop and on phones.
- Long-term support: changes across seasons, and a team trained to publish.
Example · Liège · European theatre network Prospero / Théâtre de Liège European theatre network: a WordPress site published by the Théâtre de Liège team and by the network's partners, in several countries. It is the second version in eight years of working together. Read the case study → You might be wondering…
Will our team be able to publish on its own?
Yes, that's the point. We train them to publish, and everyone has their own account.
Can the site be in several languages?
Yes. Prospero is in English, the common language of its network. Other sites are in French and English, or in more languages.
Why WordPress, when you often recommend static sites?
Because the technology follows the use. A static site is ideal for presenting a business. When a team publishes every week, WordPress is the best choice.
How long does it take?
Like all our work, it is counted in working days, announced after a first conversation.
