Hydroline: a heating engineer's website built for the phone

A website for a heating, plumbing and bathroom company in the Liège area, built so that calling or requesting a quote takes a single tap. We have worked with its owner for twenty years.

The context

Hydroline has been installing, servicing and repairing heating, plumbing and bathrooms in Liège, Seraing and Chaudfontaine for twelve years. We have worked with its owner for twenty years, on many websites and other ventures.

Its customers often search in a hurry, from their phone: a broken boiler, a leak, a quote for a bathroom. They need to see within seconds that the company does what they are looking for, then call.

Our choices

  • One page per trade, 12 pages in all. Bathrooms, boilers, plumbing, underfloor heating, air conditioning, businesses: each trade answers its own Google search.
  • A “Call · Quote” bar always visible on mobile. Visitors never have to look for the number.
  • A section on the end of heating oil and Walloon grants. It is a real question for homeowners in the region: it brings visits and shows the company is serious.
  • Real photos from the job sites, not stock images. Customers see the work as it was delivered.
  • An Astro website. Very fast, even on a phone with a weak connection, with no database to hack.

What we delivered

The copy, written together with the client, the structure of the 12 pages, the design, development for desktop and mobile, local SEO (Liège, Seraing, Chaudfontaine) and the launch.

The photos come from Hydroline's own job sites: we selected them and gave them the right setting.
